The Why Music Festival is a free and enriching one-day online experience aimed at fostering book engagement and learning among primary school children. This festival creates a unique opportunity for young learners to broaden their horizons with book readings, and interviews with a diverse range of international musicians and educators including saxophonist and broadcaster YolanDa Brown OBE DL, recorder virtuoso and YouTuber Sarah Jeffery and US-based author and multi award-winning educator Franklin Willis.
Teachers can dip in and out of the book readings and interviews, and recordings of the sessions will be available for up to 7 days after the event. By registering, you will automatically be entered into prize draws to win books and instruments curtesy of our sponsors Hal Leonard Europe and Collins Music. Giveaways include:
