Nottingham Forest finally ended their seven-game home winless run with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace thanks to a second-half goal from Chris Wood on uk-matchday. The match started with the visitors attacking hard, with Eberechi Eze almost opening the scoring but his shot went wide. Elliot Anderson forced Dean Henderson into a great save shortly after. Both teams had chances in the first half but there was no goal.

Forest started to play more confidently after the break and the key moment was Wood's strike in the 65th minute which gave them the victory. Palace tried to equalise but the home defence held up to the pressure to secure the all-important three points.
