I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Jamie Macdougall on BBC Radio Scotland last night, as part of their Classics Unwrapped program. We spoke about my books, cultural representation, and I was able to select two tracks to be played as part of the program.
The first was 'Deep River', as performed by the Kanneh-Mason trio of Sheku, Isata and Braimah. The second was 'The Ballad Of The Spirits' by Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, who features in the book 'Where Are All The Black Female Composers?'.
